Dream big.
Ignite the spirit of challenge.

In 2017, I successfully reached the summit of Island Peak in the Himalayas of Nepal.
While I had people who supported me, there were also voices pointing out the difficulties.
Even so, I chose to take on the challenge—and the experience of standing at the summit became the foundation of my beliefs about embracing challenges.

To carry that spirit forward, I founded Sorajima in February 2019 with Maeda, a friend from my high school and university days.
What I discovered next was the world of entertainment.
It is a fair arena where anyone can take on challenges—and one where the scale of what can be achieved goes far beyond climbing mountains.

Sorajima’s mission is to create content that defines this century.
To pursue this ambitious path, we are taking on a 35-year vision—holding onto bold dreams that others may laugh at.

Because challenges come first, achievement follows.
We aim to dream big, ignite the spirit of challenge, and move forward together with everyone involved.

The Vision Behind SORAJIMA.

Founded in 2019 by myself and my co-founder, Okahara, Sorajima is driven by a mission: to create content that defines this century.
Our team is united by a deep passion to create works that transcend borders and generations—stories that continue to move people across time.

While entertainment is at the core of our business, SORAJIMA is guided by an even higher principle:
to pursue bold dreams that others may laugh at, and to embody a spirit of living for the benefit of others.

This philosophy goes beyond the act of “creating content.”
It represents a broader belief—one that is not limited to entertainment itself, but rooted in how we choose to live and create.

In this sense, SORAJIMA may seem unconventional for an entertainment company.
Yet we believe that by pursuing ambitious goals with a spirit of altruism, we can become a presence that inspires hope in those who share the courage to dream.

It is my personal wish that SORAJIMA becomes more than just a company—
that it becomes a source of dreams and inspiration for people everywhere.
Because that, to me, is what true entertainment should be.
